MOTOPONY, VACATIONEER, THE ECHOLARKS
Beginning in Tacoma Washington, lead singer-songwriter Daniel Blue has taken Motopony around the world. Collaborating with producers and musicians from the Seattle / Tacoma area, the band has received accolades and critical acclaim since it's debut release "Motopony" in 2011 on the Tiny Ogre label. In 2014 they signed with Eone Music releasing the Idle Beauty EP and then the 2015 full length "Welcome You" produced by Mike McCarthy (Spoon, Trail of Dead) and mixed by Guy Massey (Spiritualized, Radiohead). Supporting the record the band traveled to India and the UK where they landed in Abbey Road Studios recording a batch of live songs and catching the ear of producer Rob Cass. Blue returned back to Abbey Road in late 2015 to lay the seeds with Cass of the next Motopony record which is currently being finished up at Alma Mater Tacoma with producer Aaron Spiro.
