NOVA Roller Derby - WFTDA SuperNOVAs
Join us at Michael and Sons Sportsplex at Dulles for exciting Derby actiom as our own WFTDA SuperNOVAs take on the River City Rollergirls [B Team]!
Doors open at 3:30pm; first whistle is at 4:30pm.
Tickets are $10 online, $12 at the door, $9 for service professionals (Military, Police, Firefighter, Medical Professionals, Teachers.) Children 12 and under are free.
Bring your own chairs for the best seating options. Food and drinks may be purchased inside the building.

NOVA Roller Derby is proud to support a different charity each month at our bouts. June's charity is Sweet Julia Grace Foundation. Their mission is to fill in the gaps, grant wishes, and meet the non-medical needs of children that are seriously ill, have special needs, or are in the midst of a medical crisis. Their PICU Outreach strives to bring the outside necessities to the parents who can barely leave their childs sides, who have to take bird baths for weeks on end, and wear the same clothes for two, three days at a time. Parents often say while they care for their childs needs in the PICU, the last thing they even think about is their own. They feel like they are alone on an island. We set up all these goodies for PICU parents, once a month. We give them a bag and say fill up on whatever you need.
Wish list:
-gas cards, grocery cards, restaurant cards (Chick-Fil-A, Panera)
-Toiletries (travel size), razors, shaving cream for ladies, lotion, face/body wipes, chapstick
-Hair ties
-Journals, small notebooks to keep notes in, anything inspirational
-Fuzzy socks for parents (often parents end up using slippers while they are there)
-Snacks, granola bars, Gum, candies, mints, Fruit snacks, breakfast bars
