CCCC - A Joyful, Jolly Holiday Concert (Paso Robles)
Joyful Children Create a Jolly Holiday
"A Joyful, Jolly Holiday", the Central Coast Children's Choir's Annual Holiday Concert, will delight audiences young and old. With favorites such as "Santa Claus is Coming to Town", "Let it Snow", "Jolly Old Saint Nicholas", 'Ding Dong Merrily on High" and "Infant Holy, Infant Lowly", you are certain to find yourself singing along. Other selections include the gospel spiritual, "Go Where I Send Thee", a medieval song and dance, along with carols from various countries.
The concert will be offered at Trinity Lutheran Church in Paso Robles on Saturday, December 8th at 2:00pm and United Methodist Church, San Luis Obispo on Sunday, December 9th at 6:00pm. Tickets range in price from $8 - $15. The Advanced Vocal Ensemble singers will present their own holiday concert on Friday, December 14th at 7:00 pm at United Methodist Church, SLO.
CCCC singers will be singing holiday songs along with Vocal Arts Ensemble while accompanied by Paul Woodring on the Forbes Pipe Organ at the Performing Arts Center, SLO for the Holiday Concert Sing-Along on December 16th.at 3:00pm. Founded in 1994, the Central Coast Children's Choir draws its choir of 100 boys and girls from communities within San Luis Obispo County. Performance opportunities have included collaborations with such prestigious groups such at Opera SLO, Vocal Arts Ensemble, Cuesta Master Chorale, and the Cal Poly Choirs and Orchestras. CCCC singers have regularly been chosen to represent California in Honor Choirs at National and State Conferences. The Central Coast Children's Choir is devoted to creating choral excellence, instilling values of self-discipline and commitment and building lasting friendships. The goal is to inspire the artist within each child through the power of music.
