2017 38th Annual Sioux River Folk Festival
38th Annual Sioux River Folk Festival, held in Newton Hills State Park, will be Aug. 4, 5, and 6, 2017. This year's festival features The Rocky Mountain Oysters, The Two Tracks, Dakota Roots Revival, Tree Party, The Teels with Dalton Coffee, Ginstrings, Melanie Devaney, Condor, The Nesters, Burlap Wolf King, and Pert Near Sandstone.
Workshops will be presented by the musicians from 10 am to noon on Saturday and 10 am to 11 am on Sunday, and a yoga workshop will be held on Saturday morning at 10:00am. South Dakota Friends of Traditional Music is a nonprofit group dedicated to preserving and promoting traditional music for generations of South Dakotans.
