Beginnings...
Building on the success of their launch last November, Luminous Voices presents another program displaying the dramatic and flawless range of this highly skilled ensemble of singers.
This colourful concert programme is inspired by the very essence of this new ensemble: Beginnings... of dreams being born into reality. The centrepiece of the program is Aaron Copland's virtuosic In the Beginning, featuring
mezzo-soprano Patricia Thompson. Other featured composers include Bach, Enns, Rheinberger, and Pizzetti.
Luminous Voices is a collaborative ensemble, bringing together singers from around the country to join with some of Calgary's top vocal talent along with accompanist Tim Pyper and Artistic Director Tim Shantz.
