Finals of the Second Annual Maine Song Contest Sponsored by the Maine Songwriters Association
The Maine Songwriters Association is proud to present the finals of the Second Annual Maine Song Contest. Nine singer-songwriters will take the stage to perform their original songs chosen from over 45 entries. Three judges will evaluate each song for melody, lyrics, song structure, creativity and overall impact and choose an overall winner and runner up. Judges include Gary Lawless of Gulf of Maine Books, Jerry Perron of the Music Center, and singer-songwriter Robby Simpson. The Maine Songwriters Association is a state-wide, non-profit, member organization dedicated to the support of songwriters and their art. The MSA's mission is to encourage, recognize, educate, support and promote developing songwriters.
