Samirah Evans and Evelyn Harris
This special tribute to iconic Jazz and blues
artists Nina Simone and Etta James has been
designed to feature acclaimed selections
from both celebrated artists in addition to
compositions that personally resonate with
both performers. Evans has shared stages
with blues and soul legends BB King and
James Brown. Grammy nominated Harris is a
former member of Sweet Honey in the Rock.
They will be accompanied by local celebrity
pianist Miro Sprague, bassist Dave Picchi
and drummer Jon Fisher.
