NOVA Roller Derby - WFTDA SuperNOVAs
Join us at Michael and Sons Sportsplex at Dulles for exciting Derby actiom as our own WFTDA SuperNOVAs take on the Rocktown Rollers!
Doors open at 3:30pm; first whistle is at 4:30pm.
Tickets are $10 online, $12 at the door, $9 for service professionals (Military, Police, Firefighter, Medical Professionals, Teachers.) Children 12 and under are free.
NOVA Roller Derby is proud to support a different charity each month at our bouts. May's charity is Step Sisters, helping breast cancer patients and their families throughout treatment. Step Sisters will have a table set up at the bout, and will be accepting gift card donations. While breast cancer has a devastating physical effect, it has an accompanying financial impact. Co-pays, expensive medication and loss of work during treatment all add up for a patient. These gift cards are used to defray the costs for a local breast cancer patient.
These gift cards will be given to Loudoun and Fairfax breast cancer patients who are currently in treatment.
Pharmacy gift cards (for example Walgreens, Walmart, CVS)
Gas station gift cards (any)
Restaurant gift cards (any local chains would work best)
Grocery store gift cards (any local chains)
Bring your own chairs for the best seating options. Food and drinks may be purchased inside the building.
