Join us for our 5th anniversary celebration concert on Saturday, May 6th at 3:00 pm at Brown Missionary Baptist Church (7200 Swinnea Road, Southaven MS) featuring all the choirs of the MidSouth Music Institute. CoroNino, CoroCorriente, CoroArroyo, CoroFuente, CoroRio, and the Mississippi River Chorale will join together to present "More than Melody."
In honor of our 5th year, the board of directors commissioned well known Jim Papoulis to write a song that will be premiered at this event. You won't want to miss the world premiere of "Lift Each Other Up" with Jim Papoulis accompanying the choirs on piano.
Also featured on this concert will be J. Reese Norris's new "Paper Crane" and "I Shall Not Live in Vain" with string quartet and percussion.
Alumni are encouraged to attend and join in our traditional closing of "An Irish Blessing." Email Mrs. Norris (cororio@gmail.com) if you need a copy of the music!
General admission for the concert is free, or assigned priority seating (center sections) are available for $5/$10.
