Charlie Dore with Julian Littman at AMC @ UCC
An evening of eclectic, contemporary folk as Charlie Dore, one of the UK's most respected songwriters, teams up with multi-instrumentalist Julian Littman of Steeleye Span. They swap guitars, mandolin, harmonium, ukulele, piano, autoharp and stories as they showcase Charlie's new album Dark Matter, while dipping into her previous five albums and sharing original versions of hits Charlie wrote for others, including George Harrison & Jimmy Nail. Charlie may even do a new version of Pilot of the Airwaves (her 1979 chart hit). 'A gift for melody, brave, poignant, entertaining, original' (Guardian ****).
