Weekend Dressmaking - 1950's Style Dress
Weekend 6th & 7th May
This class is aimed at people who can already sew a little or have attended a beginner's sewing class and would like to take these skills to the next level.
Come along and learn how to follow a pattern and make a fabulous dress made exactly to your own measurements.
This pattern has close fitting, lined bodice and contrast facings with a full skirt and gorgeous back detailing - alternatively you can make the same dress with a closer fitting skirt. (see pictures)
Learn how to adjust any pattern to your own body shape, confidently fit a zip, darts, pleats, button holes and many other finishings in a fun environment with patient and expert tuition.
Class sizes are kept small to ensure you will receive plenty of help and attention ensuring that your project with turn out fabulous!
£100 for both days (returning customers receive 20% discount - £80) tea, coffee and biscuits all provided) Machines, shears etc all provided in the studio)
