The Band Concord at The Spot on Kirk
Come support the Down by Downtown Music Festival by joining us Saturday 4/22 for The Band Concord!
The Band Concord has spent their entire lives saturated in sound. Growing up mesmerized by the strum of a guitar, the beat of a drum, the playing of a piano - they all knew it would stay with them forever.
Spencer Pugh (Vocals/Guitar) and Andrew Steger(Mandolin/Banjo) met in 2012 and the group began to form. Based in Blacksburg, Virginia, the duo transitioned from dorm-room rehearsals to opening for The Maine to being featured on The Avett Brothers' Facebook page. They've quickly found their footing in the music industry.
The additions of Jason Agola (Violin), Braden Burns (Drums), and Alex Winemiller (Bass), rounded out and solidified the groups folk sound. Hailing from all across Virginia, together this five-piece group makes The Band Concord.
