The Big Read Concert with Inyang Bassey and Binky Griptite
Vocal powerhouse Inyang Bassey and Dap-Kings guitarist Binky Griptite performs songs inspired by Tayari Jones novel Silver Sparrow, including songs by Prince, Lauren Hill, Cyndi Lauper and Aretha Franklin.
Throughout May, BPL will celebrate the novel Silver Sparrow with book discussions, films and music as part of the NEA's Big Read.
NEA Big Read is a program of the National Endowment for the Arts in partnership with Arts Midwest.
