The Minnow Show! Episode #2
The Velaslavasay Panorama and The Luis Buñuel Film Institute Presents The Minnow Show! three programs of kid-friendly film screenings followed by an arts workshop in the exotic gardens of the Velaslavasay Panorama, a non-profit arts museum located in University Park, close to Downtown L.A. Fun for the whole family, this series will engage both kids and adults in exploring contemporary and archival animated films with workshops designed to stimulate the imagination and teach kids history and methods of material arts.

Sunday, May 28th, 2017 at 11 A.M.
Film: Smokehouse Films (L.A.) presents a selection of animated 16mm films from their rare film archive, including works by Evelyn Lambart, Csaba Varga, Art Clokey and Caroline Leaf.
Workshop: Archivist & Filmmaker John Cannizzaro of Smokehouse Films leads a workshop on painting on 16mm film. These creations will then be screened in the theatre.
