Our 10th season opens with a musical evening by mezzo soprano Laurie Rubin, lauded for her "compelling artistry and communicative power." The New York Times
Featuring songs by Faurè, Sibelius, Gershwin, Bernstein, Rodgers and two SF premieres based on Ms. Rubin's writings, Do You Dream in Color, recounting her experiences as a blind opera singer.
Introduced and joined by the legendary mezzo soprano, Frederica von Stade, who honored us by performing in recital at the first Music at Meyer concert 10 years ago!
