Gallery Suite Jazz Series - April
Welcome to Season V of the Gallery Suite Jazz Series.
Since its inception in 2012, the Gallery Suite Jazz Series has been host to forty two sold out artist showcases of forty three shows featuring a celebrated list of regional, national and international artists. Now in its fifth season, the series continues its tradition of offering some of the best entertainment in downtown Lansing performed by notable artists in various styles of the jazz idiom.
The Gallery Suite Jazz Series is hosted by International recording artist and saxophonist Phil Denny and takes place inside La Fille Gallery; downtown Lansing's most unique and intimate artist-owned studio space. The hip, urban, raw venue artistically designed and decorated by Internationally celebrated and multi-discipline artist Tiffany Klein posesess wood ceilings, hardwood floors and exposed brick walls which creates the ideal backdrop for you and your guests to experience a night of lively entertainment with an emphasis on diversion though pure musical artistry. With a limited seating capacity, those present will feel as though the music is being performed just for them.
This month, we welcome back Argentinian born and Chicago based guitarist Max V for a special CD Release Party. Max's latest CD "Next To You" is on the verge of release and will be available at the show. Learn more at http://maxvalldeneu.com.

The gallery suite doors will open at 7:00pm. Limited gallery tours may be available this month due to building renovations and light construction. We anticipate full gallery tours to resume in May. Our apologies in advance.
The music showcase will begin at 8:00pm. Estimated showtime is 90 minutes. Entry to the gallery suite is located in the back of the gallery (south) just off Museum Drive.
CASH BAR AVAILABLE! The cash bar (beer & wine) is provided by Midtown Brewing Co. Michigan craft beer and select world wines will be featured.
Pre-show dining at Knight Cap is a great pairing for your jazz night out. Monthly specials exclusive to GSJS attendees when presenting your tickets to the show. Ask your sever for details when dining in. Call 517-484-7676 for details and reservations.
Join us at The Exchange in the loft area for an After Glow immediately following the show. GSJS attendees may take advantage of food and drink specials, conversation and dance.
Artist(s) merchandise will be available for purchase following the show. Cash preferred, credit cards accepted.
