About Jan Hutchinson

My artistic veins were inspired and encouraged early by my "magical" grandmother Grace. I began with learning dance..ballet, modern jazz and tap. Then I went on to painting in many mediums. I studied 3D sculpture at different colleges to include Pacific Northwest College of Arts and crafts. Over the last 7 years my focus has been to learn guitar and express myself through music. I have met and played with some truly amazing musicians. I have played many varied venues across the Pacific Northwest. I find the best part of my search are the kindred spirits I have met and the receptive audience who let me know they enjoy what I share.

Adrian & Meredith make a different sort of roots racket. More Than A Little, their debut record, finds the East Nashville-based duo putting its own spin on Americana music, roughing up the genre's edges with the rule-breaking spirit of punk, the vintage twang of old-timey folk, the sneer of rock & roll, and even the frenetic bounce of early Swing and Jazz manouche. Adrian & Merediths music produces a rallying cry from two road warriors who, after more than a dozen combined years in the music business, are too smart to play by the industry's rules and too enthralled to turn their backs.
