Fences
On Sunday, April 9 at 3 pm, we are pleased to you "Fences", starring Viola Davis and Denzel Washington.
Based on August Wilson's Pulitzer Prize winning play of the same name, "Fences" tells the story of Troy Maxson (Denzell Washington) who makes his living as a sanitation worker in 1950s Pittsburgh. Maxson once dreamed of becoming a professional baseball player, but was deemed too old when the major leagues began admitting black athletes. Bitter over his missed opportunity, Troy creates further tension in his family when he squashes his son's chance to meet a college football recruiter. Through it all, Troy's wife Rose (Viola Davis), is the center of the family.
Tickets are $7.00 general admission and available online and at the theater box office one hour prior to showtime. This movie is rated "PG-13" and has a run time of two hours and 19 minutes.
