Crash Course to Scrimmage Bootcamp - Minimum skills and beyond
Sheffield Steel Roller Girls are proud to present their first ever bootcamp - aimed at pre-minimum skills skaters - all we ask is that you are part of a league & have basic skating skills (able to stand up and move in a forward direction a little!).
The day will include a fun and interactive rules game, sessions from some of SSRG's top coaches and an off skates fitness session, including nutrition advice from our very own fitness Guru!
We will finish with some guided scrimmaging, providing a chance to put into practice all the new skills and drills from throughout the day.
SSRG's experienced officiating crew will be leading sessions for new referees, including an interactive rules session, guidance on positioning and plenty of on-skate time, culminating with the opportunity to referee the scrimmage and receive constructive feedback on your skills.
