"Editor's Comments: A soupcon of Kurt Elling, a nano-dash of Bennett, some silky midnightness and a hot shot swinging band. Serve with ice."

He has always had the knack of making the stage his home, whether it be a quaint bistro in Point Richmond, California or 65000 people at the Sternwheel Reggata in West Virginia. Bill has worked with world class musicians and singers from all over the world and continues to record and perform with the best of the best. A short list of some of the artists Bill Mentz has had the privilege to share the stage with, or, warm up include: John Denver, Jerry Springer, Richie Havens, Poco, The Beach Boys, Pat Boone, Conway Twitty, Dottie West, Ray Stevens, Bo Diddley, Lee Greenwood, The Oak Ridge Boys, The Temptations, Tommy Castro, Chuck Berry, Mary Wilson, Jerry Lee Lewis, Fats Domino, Art Linkletter, The Associations, and The Guess Who. Bill Mentz has fronted such great bands as Night Flight, The Celebration Band, The Van-Dells, Strong Current and the Clevers. Bill has spent the last 6+ years recording and performing with the fabulous Howlers out of Berkeley California along with some of the very best musicians in the Bay Area.
For this evening he will joined by an all-star band: Kelly Park on piano, Ed Margolin on drums, Ollie Dudek on bass and the very bluesy and talented David Garfinkel on guitars. He will present a beautiful mix of standard jazz songs along with some great blues classics and a surprise or two. It's going to be a great evening of music and we're all are looking forward to it.
