PROGRAM:
Esercito Concertante is an army of musicians of different countries and cultures; the same countries that, in 1916-1917, were fighting in the World War I. The artists of those countries meet today, after a century, for dialoging through the universal language of music in a project able to transform the guns and the pain to friendship and be a messenger of memory and diffusion of peace.
Luisa Sello, defined by the New York Concert Review lovely mix of extroverted passion and genuine tenderness, with excellent breath control, brilliant technical rendering, engaging intensity, sonorous range and abundance of charm is a Flute Miyazawa Artist and an Ambassador of Music and Italian Culture, supported by the Italian Ministry of Culture. She is a representative personality of contemporary art, an elegant flautist, and one of the most applauded interpreters of Italian music. Among her collaborations, she includes Teatro alla Scala di Milano, Wien Symphoniker Orchestra, Thailand Symphony Orchestra, Riccardo Muti, Trevor Pinnock, Alirio Diaz, Carnegie Hall, Juilliard School, Philippe Entremont, Bruno Canino. Visiting professor at the University of Music in Vienna, she is flute professor at the Faculty of Music in Trieste (Italy). In obtaining both her ArtD (Concert Doctorate in Bratislava Academy) in Performing Arts and her PhD in Linguistic and Literary Sciences (Udine University), she studied in Paris with Raymond Guiot and Alain Marion, who proclaimed her very musical, superb, and at the Accademia Chigiana with Severino Gazzelloni, who remarked her magnificent interpretive sensibility and excellent sound. She records for Stradivarius, one of the most famous music production companies in Europe.
Anton Niculescu was born in Bucharest, the only son of a family of musicians. At first he had music lessons with his father, who was violoncello soloist of Bucharest Broadcasting Orchestra. Then he was taught by Radu Aldulescu, Antonio Janigro and Daniil Safran. At the age of 12, he performed his first concert at Sala Mica R.S.R. in Bucharest, at 14 he played soloist in the E. Lalo concert witrh the Moldova Philharmonic Orchestra in Jasi. He has been the prize-winner of various competitions and was leading Violoncello Soloist at Milans Teatro alla Scala, at Teatro Comunale of Florence and at Teatro V. Bellini of Catania. He is an active figure in the concert life of France, Denmark, Germany, Switzerland, Roumania, Austria, Spain, Hungary, Italy, Belgium, Portugal, Madeira, Turky, Cyprus, Arab Emirates, Greece, Japan, Hong-Kong, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, U.S.A., Korea, Mexico, Brasil, Venezuela, Ecuador, Argentina, Peru, Kasakhstan and Usbekistan , giving recitals and taking part as soloist in the orchestral and chamber concerts, as well as recordings for radio and television. His students, are winning in Germany for years, first prizes at the National Contest Jugend Musiziert and at other important international competitions. In Roumania he is State soloist concertist at the Brasov and at the Oradea Philharmonic Orchestra. Since 1997 he is honorary member of the Academia Filarmonica di Bologna in Italy, which was founded in 1666. In Roumania he has founded the Euterpe Foundation for supporting young talented musicians. He is member of The Zurich String Trio, Trio di Vienna and of the Oistrach Ensemble and plays together with pianists like Bruno Canino, Pavel Gililov, Nicolae Licaret. He is playing a Pietro Guarnieri Mantova 1709 instrument.
Aurora Sabìa She studied at the Conservatory of Trieste Diplomatasi al Conservatorio di Trieste and took her degree in the classo of Prof. Teresa Trevisan. She continnued her studies with G. Nador, S. Young, J. Von Vintschger, J. Kropfitsch, P. Lassmann, P. Bordoni, S. Gadjiev, K. Eickhorst, B. Lupo, K. Barth, A. Léger, A. Delle Vigne. Aurora got the award of the Fondazione Ananian, and worked at the Schola Cantorum in Paris. She worked also at the Conservatoire Régional in Rennes as piano accompaniment and in Turky at the Ya?ar University of Smirne. She has a concert activity as soloist and in chambre music..
