Songs for an Autumn Evening with Emily Markoe, soprano
Seventh Avenue Performances presents their third of ten free concerts with "Songs for an Autumn Evening" a vocal recital with Emily Markoe, soprano. Markoe will present an evening of music by Handel, Schumann, Faure, Barber and others. No tickets or reservations are required - just come and enjoy the concert!
Emily Markoe, soprano, performs actively both as a soloist and in ensembles, including San Francisco Renaissance Voices, Artist-in-Residence at Seventh Avenue Performances. She has appeared in operas including Le Nozze di Figaro, L'enfant et les sortilèges, and most recently with The Handel Opera Project in Dido and Aeneas. Emily has also enjoyed performing with several choral groups both in the United States and internationally. She holds degrees from the New England Conservatory of Music and Tufts University.
