Travel back in time with critically-acclaimed vocalist Helen Welch as she takes you on a nostalgic journey of stories and music from the hit melodic-pop sibling duo, The Carpenters. With her he warm alto tones, gentle soul vibrations, and oodles of cheeky British humor, Welch brings to life the story of The Carpenters, a band that stood in direct contrast with the excessive, gaudy pop and rock of the 70s; yet became one of the most beloved recording acts of all time. Welchs charming storytelling is coupled with the lush arrangements of her ace band - Joe Leaman (piano), Bryan Thomas (bass), Anthony Taddeo (drums), and Adam Keeler (guitar) - on Carpenters classics such as Weve Only Just Begun, I Wont Last a Day Without You, Yesterday Once More, Close To You, and many more.
