Claude Bourbon with special guest Dylan Sevey
French and world citizen Claude Bourbon has been well known to fans in the UK and Europe for years. Playing more than 100 concerts per year, Claude Bourbon's style of playing guitar creates a unique sound that is distinctly his own, what he calls "Medieval and Spanish Blues."
Bourbon gets his musical inspiration from around the world, with influences including Spanish Middle Eastern, Russia and European musics, playing his guitar with an easy virtuosity. Claude Bourbon is the first European artist we are hosting, and we are very happy to have him coming to the Lily Pads stage.
Dylan Sevey is based out of Wakefield, Rhode Island. Dylan currently plays and sings with Milkbread (www.milkbreadmusic.com), a URI-based jazz/rock/hip-hop octet - his own songs are rooted in blues, folk, and rock and roll. These songs are showcased with his band The Gentlemen (dylansevey.bandcamp.com). He is thrilled to have the opportunity to showcase some of his original songs for the first time at Lily Pads.
