Ryan Spearman and Mike Oberst
Mike and Ryan will be performing together for the first time on a mini-tour consisting of four shows in three states with the grand finale here, at The Focal Point!
Mike Oberst is an accomplished multi-instrumentalist, old time musician, and songwriter known mostly for his work as the front man for the Cincinnati, OH old time group, The Tillers. Oberst and his music have been featured on Tom Brokaw's popular television show, "American Character Along Route 50".
Ryan Spearman is a prominent figure in the local and national folk music scene. When he's not performing or recording, he spends his musical time educating, lecturing, blogging, and podcasting or organizing local festivals and square dances. Ryan is fast becoming recognized as a new leader in the direction of traditional American music.
