Jay Ungar and Molly Mason
Fiddle and guitar/piano duo JAY UNGAR and MOLLY MASON are a favorite of the Common Fence Music family. As masters of American roots music, their repertoire spans 19th-century folk and Appalachian tunes, country, Cajun, Celtic and even orchestral music. Though famous for their master classes and workshops at the Ashokan Center in Woodstock, NY, Jay and Molly are best known for their performance of Jays Emmy-nominated composition, Ashokan Farewell, as featured in Ken Burns The Civil War.
Common Fence Music offers the finest folk, roots and world music in an intimate 200 seat listening room. Doors open at 7 pm to the "Folk Tailgate Party." Don't forget your picnic basket!
