SONGS OF LEONARD COHEN
Gather round for a vibrant concert of Cohen's poetry and songs, sung in four-and-five-part harmonies by the Conspiracy of Beards.
This 30-member male chorus sings a cappella arrangements of Cohen's words, drawing on the influence of jazz and gospel, barbershop and doo-wop. Their unique arrangements capture all of the emotion and humor of Leonard Cohen's original poetry.
The Beards perform regularly at venues throughout the Bay Area and in New York City and Los Angeles. Recently they were the featured performers at large memorial events for Leonard Cohen in San Francisco and Oakland.
Come hear Cohen's melodies, as if for the first time.
