Saturday, November 10th - RAIN OR SHINE!
This is a 5K fun run / walk that begins and ends at Trinity United Methodist Church and travels through the Beverley Hills community in Alexandria, VA. There will be a 1.5 mile course for children to run or walk. In conjunction with the race, there will be a "fitness festival" of games and activities for the children on the blacktop. All are welcome!
Activities will begin at 8:00 AM and are expected to last through 10:00 AM. The 5K race will start at 8:30 AM.
Adults:
$25 ahead of time
$30 on race day*
*T-shirt sizes cannot be guaranteed for individuals registering within 2 weeks of the race.
Kids:
$10 - kids are able to run a 1.5 mile course and/or participate in the fitness festival on the blacktop. Children participating in the race in strollers do not require registration.
The race entry fee includes a t-shirt and there will be prizes for the top male, female and child finishers. This is a "fun run" - the course will not be closed, and we will not have timing chips. Strollers are welcome (but caution is urged as the course will not be closed).
