Moore/See/Hallifax & Heater Paris Quartets
The 1737 Quartets composed by Telemann for his visit to Paris were the talk of the town in that year, which included a celebrated performance by the very best players: Guignon, Blavet, Forqueray, and Eduard. Two of these quartets bookend the program, with other music from that time,including pieces by Boismortier filling the program.
The performers are Carla Moore, violin; Janet See, flute;, Peter Hallifax, viol; and Katherine Heater, harpsichord.
