AMBICON 2013: the HEARTS of SPACE 30TH & 40TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION & MUSIC CONFERENCE : MAY 3-4-5, 2013
The Hearts of Space radio program was born in 1973 at KPFA-FM in Berkeley. We began national syndication 10 years later in 1983. So 2013 is a year of milestones. In addition to the decade anniversaries, in January we passed program #1,000 in the HOS series!
We're celebrating with a rare and special live event at the EMBASSY SUITES HOTEL and CONFERENCE CENTER near our home base in SAN RAFAEL, CA, 13 miles north of San Francisco in beautiful Marin County.
AMBICON 2013 is a spring weekend conference hosted by Hearts of Space producer STEPHEN HILL, organized around 4 live surround-sound concerts featuring 2 core Hearts of Space artists in each, for a total of 8 solo performances by HANS CHRISTIAN, STEPHAN MICUS, JEFF PEARCE, ROBERT RICH, STEVE ROACH, MICHAEL STEARNS, STELLAMARA, and TIM STORY.
Morning sessions include a special presentation by English music writer MARK PRENDERGAST, author of "THE AMBIENT CENTURY," plus interviews, panel discussions and Q&A.

Full conference registration includes opening reception Friday evening, all concerts and sessions on Saturday and Sunday, coffee break service, and lunch Saturday and Sunday.
