LACE BITE Screening Party | Fundraiser
A presentation of Beyond Your Eye Productions and Cystic Fibrosis Canada - Vancouver Chapter

This event is a celebration of the LG4CF that touched so many lives. Proceeds will go towards getting the film "Lace Bite" seen more widely in its bid to increase awareness for cystic fibrosis and to raise money for Cystic Fibrosis Canada. Lace Bite is an independent film which has been Officially Selected for DocuFest Atlanta and the St. John's International Women's Film Festival.
We are thrilled to have great sponsors: WHOLE FOODS MARKET will provide the event with delicious and wholesome catered fare. DELANY'S COFFEE HOUSE will be serving up some hot brew. For dessert, BELLA CAKES in New Westminster is providing a divine decorated cake (www.bellacakes.ca). For the cash bar, PARALLEL 49 BREWERY is providing a few great craft beers to choose from and GRAY MONK WINERY is providing a fine Pinot Gris wine. And we have superb red wine from QUAILS' GATE WINERY.

"Lace Bite is an account of a record-breaking challenge, the longest hockey game ever played. Largely a gesture on behalf of a dying friend, the gameinvolving 40 women in skatestook 243 hours, a little over 10 days and nights. Totally inspiring, the film chronicles the whole nutty initiative and the cause for which it stoodcystic fibrosis. The musical score is particularly memorable, as are the scenes of these noble women breathing life into an exhausting situation. You'll crave a good foot massage after seeing their indefatigable valiant heroics." - SJIWFF
