Classical guitarist, Kenya Esteva de Ruiz, will delight you with romantic music befitting of Valentines Day celebrations. As a prelude to your celebrations, join us on Wednesday, February 8th at 7:30pm for a Prelude DAmour. We will journey through the renaissance and romantic periods exploring music by Spanish and Latin American composers including Fernando Sor, Antonio Lauro and Heitor Villa-Lobos.
Proceeds from the concert will benefit Creative Arts, a nonprofit, local community arts school providing engaging, high-quality creative instruction taught by professional teaching artists in theater, music and art. By attending this concert, you are helping make visual and performing art opportunities available and accessible to all. Creative arts provides scholarships and programming throughout the community including in our public schools, the Boys and Girls Club and at their main facility located at 25 Woburn Street in Reading.
