Bellingham's Fourth Annual Lumber and Lace Ball to Benefit the Whatcom Hospice Foundation

Bellingham's Fourth Annual Lumber and Lace Ball to Benefit the Whatcom Hospice Foundation will be take place on March 4th at the Majestic Ballroom on North Forest Street.

Every year the ball gets better and year four is no exception! Entertainment will include live music for your listening/dancing/partying pleasure. Other event highlights include professional dance instruction, adult beverages, appetizers, old-fashioned photos, old-time hair-do's, a silent auction full of goodies and a 50/50 Raffle.

Kulshan Brewing is teaming up with us for the second year in a row and brewing up a beer to benefit Hospice and the Lumber and Lace Ball! The Lumber and Lace Bootstrap Brown will be available early February and will be found at Kulshan Breweries and other places throughout town.

The Lumber and Lace Ball organized by a group of active community member's who believe the assistance provided by Hospice is invaluable and poorly understood by Whatcom County's younger generation.

All revenues from the Ball are donated to the Whatcom Hospice Foundation. Whatcom Hospice provides our community with compassionate end-of-life medical care and support services to terminally ill patients and their families. Hospice never denies any patient services because of an inability to pay. Many people who have never had the need for Hospice services are unaware of the invaluable support they offer. And, what better way to celebrate life than to get all dressed up with your friends and dance the night away!?
