From Serge Gainsbourg to France Gall, Johnny Hallyday to Pussy Cat, Jacques Dutronc to Françoise Hardy, Nino Ferrer to Brigitte Bardot, Sylvie Vartan to Michel Polnareff ,and so many more artists, the Sixties in France were an artistic explosion of music and songs Mod, Yé-Yé and Gogo that were originals or influenced by the British Invasion or the vast American music creations.
With its talented musicians from San Francisco and Marin County, Rue 66 will take you back to this fascinating era with authentic French hits that remain fresh today. Surf guitars, Luxe harmonies, Mod minis, go-go boots, all vintage Vox 1960s props, are only a few examples of a unique show that will take the audience to the French Sixties with a high musical and visual energy that will make you sing and dance.
