Corklickers
The North Carolina based Corklickers were formed over
forty years ago at the height of the 1970s old-time revival
(photo: 1976 in Boone). Their music is based on classic early to mid 20th century old-time repertoire with influences from Tommy Jarrell, Charlie Bowman, Uncle Dave Macon, Ernest Stoneman, Riley Puckett, Charlie Poole, Grandpa Jones, and John Carson. The band includes Mark Adams on banjo; fiddlers Gil Adams, Rick Palmer, and David Burns; Rick Moore on standup bass; and Ben Moore on guitar.
