A San Francisco detective suffering from acrophobia investigates the strange activities of an old friend's wife, all the while becoming dangerously obsessed with her.
Generally accepted as Hitchcock's ultimate masterpiece (some will claim "Shadow of a Doubt" but don't listen to them!), Vertigo is a technical tour de force, a brilliant tale of obsession. Equal credit goes to Bernard Herrmann for his mesmerizing score.
