Often described as "The legendary Godmother of Japanese Electronica" or "The lost daughter of Björk & Aphex Twin", Coppe' is one of Japan's most pioneering and respected vocalists, producers and artist in modern Electronic music.
Once one of Japan's first ever MTV VJs and leading Radio DJs, Coppe' has been spearheading her own brand of Electronica since 1995 after founding her own 'Mango + Sweetrice Records', releasing over 14 albums and has collaborated with everyone from Plaid, DJ Vadim, Atom, The Orb, Red Snapper, Sutekh, Nikakoi, Nobukazu Takemura, Shitmat and many, many more.
To celebrate the release of her 14th album, Coppe' has teamed up with UK Electronica label Bit-Phalanx to tour the UK this September & October, but will be bringing some very special friends along for the ride
Launching her UK tour with a special evening at Shoreditch's iconic Cargo, Coppe' will be playing live with three of the UK's most extraordinary pioneering acts...
- English duo ADDICTIVE TV have been carving a ferocious reputation for themselves on the international live circuit for their mind bending Audio-visual shows that essentially remix and twist a whole slew of pop-culture movie, music and television landmarks into an entirely unique and mind-bending spectacle. Or "Next-level shit", as charmingly described by Grand Master Flash.
- Stalwart signings of the pioneering Warp Records, PLAID have rightfully secured their place in Electronic music history, following over twenty years of classic albums and extensive remixes & collaborations with everyone from Björk, Goldfrapp, Red Snapper and Uncle. Tonight, Plaid join Coppe' at Cargo for an exclusive DJ set of some of their favourite classic and current tunes.
- One of the UK's most veteran names in contemporary DJ culture, MIXMASTER MORRIS has been a key name in some the biggest scenes and genres over the years. Which such accolades as two-time winner of Ibiza Chillout DJ of the year, one of Ninja Tune's most influential acts, and a founding figure of the Big Chill to his name, Morris will be joining Coppe' for an exclusive mix.

- One of the brightest new waves of performers on the French Electro-pop scene, The one-woman show that is DOUCE ANGOISSE (or, "Soft Anguish") bottles lighting and spits it out over a torrent of razor sharp French rap and killer electronic beats and stabs and will ensure every corner of the room is not left untouched, as many London, Parisian and Montreal audiences from over the last few years will testify.
