ZONES
Led by Marcus Young, Ananya Chatterjea, and Dr. Joi Lewis
ZONES is a participatory workshop and community healing event that explores flowing through zones of meditation, movement, and art. Together, we break through zones of restriction, trauma, and isolation to access emotional liberation. The experiment led by Marcus Young, Ananya Chatterjea, and Dr. Joi Lewis will invite audiences to experience various forms of self-care in a playful, mindful, an celebratory environment. A reception with food will follow the event. ZONES is co-presented with Dont You Feel It Too?, Ananya Dance Theatre, and Joi Unlimited / OM Community Coach Training Program.
What to Bring (as able) and How to Prepare:
* Yoga Mat, Meditation Cushion, or Yoga Blanket
* Water Bottle
* Your favorite music on a mobile device + earbuds
* Comfortable clothes you can move in
4-4:15PM | Welcome
4:15-4:35PM | Meditation
4:35-5PM | Don't You Fell It Too? (movement, dancing)
5-5:20PM | Meditation
5:20-5:30PM | Mindful watching of dance performance
5:30-6PM | Reflection circles
6-6:30PM | Healing activities, food, and celebration
