CMH & HPR Present 3 Poems by Edward Lear at Paliku Theatre
In a simultaneous 30th anniversary celebration of both Chamber Music Hawaii and Hawaii Public Radio, composer Takeo Kudo has been commissioned to set three Edward Lear poems to music, and the world premiere of the work will be narrated by HPR President Michael Titterton and assorted HPR staff members on Monday, September 17th at Windward Community College's Paliku Theatre and Monday, Sept. 24th at the Doris Duke Theatre at the Honolulu Museum of Art, both at 7:30. The Tresemble of Chamber Music Hawaii will perform, and the Kudo work will be conducted by Stuart Chafetz.
