Griffin Choral Arts- "Make A Joyful Noise"
Psalm 100 begins, "Make a joyful noise unto the Lord all the earth." Our opening concert of our sixth season includes settings of Psalm texts from various style periods, and features the Robert Ray Gospel Mass. Special guests include the Advanced Chorus from Griffin High School, directed by Mr. James Lindsey. Other selections include Psalm 100 settings by Rene Clausen and Felix Mendelssohn, Psalm 117 by Telemann, "Plenty Good Room" arranged by Kirby Shaw, and "Worthy to be Praised" by Byron J. Smith.
