Seattle Modern Orchestra opens its 2012-13 season with a one-night only immersive event in the world of sounds and ideas of American composer John Cage. In celebration of Cage's centennial, this evening will feature a multimedia presentation and documentary of the life of the composer, and a concert in collaboration with Seattle Percussion Collective. Also, pianist and Cage specialist Stephen Drury will join SMO in a unique performance of Concerto for Prepared Piano and Chamber Orchestra.
