Skunks scurry and birds take flight as Ancora celebrates the beauty, joy and magnificence of nature and its inhabitants. Artistic Director Aimee Mell leads a program of classic and contemporary works by Randall Thompson, Ola Gjeilo, Sarah Quartel, Joan Szymko, Dan Forrest, and others. Ancora and special guests Skyros String Quartet join for a rare performance of South Dakota Shadows Suite by acclaimed American composer Jackson Berkey.
