After a year in the studio, the Alec Hutson Trio has finally unveiled its debut album, Thunder and Lightning. A potent mixture of rock, soul, and folk, their music is set to entrance your mind and move your feet. Front man and songwriter Alec Hutson, a Boston native and child of Soviet immigrants, brings captivating indie-folk melodies and lyrics that are intricate while staying authentic and accessible. The rest of the trio, coming from a soul-funk background, help to transform the final product into a distinctly unique sound that virtually anyone can get down to.

"Hutsons vocal commands a power like few other male singers I have come across. Powerhouse has typically been a term I reserved and only used in context of female blues/soul singers, but man does Alecs voice deserve the moniker. His range and tone is gorgeous and forceful in the same breath. " Red Line Roots

KAELI EARLE
Kaeli Earle is a singer and bass player from Bellingham, Washington. She came up as a classical cellist throughout high school, dedicating long hours to bach and beethoven before giving it all up to play jazz bass.

At 19 she moved to San Francisco to attend USF, but soon dropped out to tour with gypsy-jazz musician George Cole and night-light with hip-hop group Oakland Mind.

Kaeli currently attends Berklee College of Music on full scholarship, writing and playing with her band in Boston, ma. she returns frequently to Bellingham and the Bay Area to play shows, moving crowds with a high energy performance style and her smooth, smooth voice. Her music is a mix of jazz, rock, funk and soul.
