A dramatic portrayal of the capriciousness and inequities of the American justice system and one young mans struggle against it: when Evan, a college kid, is busted for mere marijuana possession, he quickly finds himself caught up in the crosswinds the grand political ambitions of overzealous District Attorney Frank Coleman (David Arquette). On the basis of little proof and questionable testimony, Coleman decides to throw the book at Evan and prosecutes him on 7 different counts with a possible sentence of 28 years. Eventually, Evan must choose between freedom and revenge.
