In Dulci Jubilo / Sweet Rejoicing Early Baroque Holiday Music
The Lakeville CT-based, national award-winning music organization Crescendo presents Christmas motets for four to eight voices and cantatas by Heinrich Schütz, Philipp Böddecker, Michael and Hieronymus Praetorius, Andreas Hammerschmidt, Christoph Demantius, Giovanni Gabrieli and Salvatore Sacchi.
The performers are: soprano Michelle Kennedy, countertenor Nicholas Tamagna and bass Peter Walker, with Tricia van Oers, recorder and Crescendo's Vocal Ensemble. Crescendo's founder and artistic director Christine Gevert will conduct and accompany on the organ.
Crescendo's performances are Take Part Culture Card events of the Northwest Connecticut Arts Council.
