The Divisa Ensemble Presents: BEERTHOVEN
The Divisa Ensemble will be partnering with the Devil's Canyon Brewing Company to present an afternoon of music and beer tastings. The program will include works by Mozart, Beethoven, Phillips, Bloomer Deussen, Ceremuga, and Singer.
The Divisa Ensemble is recognized for its engaging performances and eclectic programming. A quintet of flute, oboe, violin, viola, and cello, the ensemble's instrumentation and "mix-and-match" approach allow for a wide variety of repertoire comprising all traditional and contemporary styles.
Since its premiere concert in 2009, the Divisa Ensemble has performed throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, including appearances in the St. Bede's Performing Arts Series, Manteca Kindred Arts Series, Vallejo Symphony, Old First Concerts, Del Valle Fine Arts, Pacifica Performances, and Trinity Chamber Concerts. On every program the Divisa Ensemble showcases its diverse repertoire of the Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and Contemporary genres.
The Divisa Ensemble is currently the Ensemble-in-Residence of the acclaimed El Camino Youth Symphony. The ensemble mentors student chamber groups through masterclasses and weekly coachings. At the end of each season, the Divisa Honors Program selects student groups to perform in a Divisa Ensemble concert.

Devil's Canyon Brewing Company was established in 2001 in Belmont, CA, the name derived from the original title given to the canyon which runs through Belmont and San Carlos, la Cañada del Diablo, by Spanish settlers in the 18th century. We pioneered the Bay Area craft beer movement in the beginning of the 21st century through innovation, sustainable production and a never-quit spirit. Back then, we produced only 1,500 barrels of beer a year and were the largest self-distributed brewery on the West Coast. What was true then is true now: people love flavorful beer!
Today, after relocation and expansion to neighboring city San Carlos, we produce over 10,000 barrels a year and are distributed both domestically and internationally. Over 8,000 people come to the brewery every month for our public and private events. We've won awards for our event center, sustainable business practices and our meticulously crafted beer. We've grown from only three employees to over twenty-five, and our Brew Crew is bigger and better than ever. Every day our loyal friends and fans inspire us to innovate, create and grow.
