Help A Far Cry celebrate the beginning of its sixth season with this intensely spiritual program, designed by Crier Miki-Sophia Cloud. Miki writes: "Music is intensely spiritual for me. When I think of the most moving, electric musical experiences in my life -- from Amazing Grace to late Beethoven -- they have always been in dialogue with God. Mysticism has long been a passage between faith and music; in this program, we're welcomed into that passage and allowed to linger."

A Far Cry welcomes the amazing klezmer / classical clarinetist David Krakauer in Osvaldo Golijov's klezmer-tinged Dreams and Prayers of Isaac the Blind. A Far Cry is also pleased to present the world premiere of Mehmet Ali Sanlikol's Sufi-influenced new composition Vecd.

Although tickets are required, this concert is FREE, thanks to the generous sponsorship of the Free For All Concert Fund.
