What can a song recital be?
VHO recitalists Brenda Patterson and Will Ferguson (both former Winners of the Alice Tully Debut Recital Competition) will seek to answer this question with an afternoon of Schumann as never before seen or heard. A household will come to life with ghostly memories as Will Ferguson looks back on his formative experiences in Dichterliebe (A Poet's Love) . Brenda Patterson reclaims Schumanns Frauenliebe und- leben (A Womans Life and Love) in the new creation und leben aktuell (Actual Life) featuring the poetry of Emily Moore (New Yorker Magazine, The Paris Review).
