Port Angeles Symphony Orchestra Concert # 1
The first Port Angeles Symphony Orchestra concert of the season brings three magnificent pieces of music as well as two guest artists. The 66-piece orchestra, with conductor Jonathan Pasternack, will perform Charles Ives' Pulitzer Prize-winning Symphony No. 3, "The Camp Meeting"; then KING FM's Lisa Bergman will join the orchestra to present Aaron Copland's stirring "Lincoln Portrait." As the finale, the Symphony will welcome internationally known musician Monique Mead for a performance of Brahms' Concerto for Violin in D major.
