The Heart of Singing
What is singing all about? Northwest Girlchoir's most advanced choir levels will demystify singing and demonstrate what it takes to sing well, from techniques like breath management and beautiful vowels, to different singing styles, like bel canto, pop, and overtone singing. You'll hear evocative music from around the world, such as Mikmaq Honour Song (Native Canada) and Past Life Melodies (Australia) and masterful compositions (Rachmaninoff, Fauré) that show off the beauty of the human voice.
Free admission for children 5 and under.
Tickets will also be available at the door for:
